At 15, she was kind and serene, her eyes forever glowing with curiosity about the world around her.

Beneath the warm morning glow, her days unfolded in gentle harmony: tai chi practitioners in the park, commuters clutching steaming breakfasts, students chatting brightly, neighbors exchanging warm greetings, and traffic flowing steadily. These small, precious moments wove the fabric of her familiar, peaceful routine.

That evening, however, the news painted a starkly contrasting scene from a distant land. Air strikes rumbled relentlessly, buildings lay in crumbled ruins, and injured civilians clung fiercely to their homes amid chaos. Children scrambled desperately for relief food—many would depart empty-handed. The anchor’s voice carried the weight of sorrow: “The conflict here has dragged on for three months. Over 100,000 people have been displaced…”

As she watched those enduring the agony of war, a profound sorrow settled over her. For the first time, she truly glimpsed the world’s darker side. “War” and “suffering,” once mere words in textbooks, became tangible and piercingly real.

The news imparted a powerful truth: peace is life’s truest treasure. It is not the glitter of jewels nor the cost of luxury, but the fragile, taken-for-granted moments—morning sunlight spilling through windows, laughter echoing around the dinner table, a life unshaken by displacement, and the encompassing embrace of peace itself.

She dreamed of carrying this precious gift to every corner of the globe, sending warm wishes to all. And thus, Pretiosus was born.
